If you live in the Midwest, you know how bipolar the weather has been in 2017. This fall weather has been nothing new here at Purdue, some days are cold and some days are hot, so I am taking grasp of those last bits of warm summer air! This past weekend, my friends and I went to a local pumpkin patch to enjoy some free-time and pick out some pumpkins for our apartment! Senior year has been a roller coaster of classes and constant activity, so to have a break like this was much needed.
I decided to pair this trendy ruffled sweater with a thick blanket scarf from Nordstrom. Not only is it very "fall" but it also keeps me quite warm. The colors in the scarf are versatile, which make it the perfect fall staple. I finished the look with one of my beloved jeans by Paige and a pair of Hunter rain boots. What I really liked about these rain boots are the fit and crop. I do own a tall classic pair of black Hunters but this sleek version amped up my rainy-day look.
