Torn up with Tommy
Yes, I am sure you have seen this top all over Instagram, Pinterest and everywhere in-between. I wanted to do my own take on the look. I paired the Tommy Jeans T with a pair of slim-boyfriends from Levi's (that I actually got for a steal on Haute Look!). I traded in my old Vans, the ones that you may remember from my last outfit post, for some clean and crisp white ones. Lastly, I tied the entire look together with a worn in and laid back belt... giving the look a hint of trend.
The look was shot with the incredibly talented Pictures from Mars. You can follow her on Instagram @pictures.from.mars. I am incredibly blessed to have made friends all over the country, and have kept in contact with them since. I am planning on starting a series called Tip Tuesday where I talk about tips and advice about topics like "How to keep a long distance friendship alive" and "How to travel on a college student budget". What do y'all think? I want to create The more you Merlot into a blog not just for looks but also a place to talk about real life advice, good places to grab some grub and sharing my travel adventures with everyone who reads my page.
I have had a lot of love and growth for the short time that this blog has been live! I am so incredibly happy that I will be able to grow The more you Merlot organically and with the help of everyone who is involved and active with my posts. Thank you thank you!!

I purchased the jeans off a Levi's flash sale on HauteLook. I found a similar pair here.
The T is from Urban Outfitters. Although I normally wear a small, I got a medium for a looser fit.
The Girlfriend Belt from Urban Outfitters.
My Vans are from Nordstrom. They come in multiple colors & patterns but I stuck with the classic white.
TIP: HauteLook is a great website to use if you are trying to purchase a certain brand, on a discount. How the website works is a couple different brands are featured on certain days, for certain times. The buyer only has a couple of days, hours, or minutes to purchase the items depending on the popularity of the brand. I actually picked up the Levi's in this post off of a HauteLook sale (for aorund $40!). Talk about a steal!
